EYBS Selection

The European Young Breeders School (EYBS) is an international competition taking place annually in Battice, Belgium at the end of August/early September. The event consists of 3 days of training and 2 days of competition, and hosts 120 participants from around the world.

​

To qualify for the 2026 year, participants must achieve one the following:

  • 2025 Overall Champion or Reserve Overall Champion at any of the three EastGen provincial events (East, West & Challenge), OR;

  • 2025 Grand, Reserve, or Honourable Mention Showmanship Champion at any of the three EastGen provincial events (East, West & Challenge), OR;

  • 2025 Ontario exhibitor placing in the top 10 of the Senior Showmanship class at the TD Canadian 4-H Dairy Classic in Toronto, OR;

  • 2025 Inter-County Judging Competition - Senior Division High Individual or Runner- Up High Individual.

 

Should you qualify in one of the above shows, and you are over the age of 18, you are invited to apply to earn one of two Ontario positions on the Canadian team for 2026. If you are interested in applying, please complete the application  by Friday, February 6, 2026.
